Your guide is a Dao or a H’mong whose family has been living in the Ta Phin/Sa Seng mountains for generations. The homestay is very simple: 2 bedrooms, water in a cistern, Turkish toilets, but one cannot find more authentic nor enjoy a better hospitality from a minority family.
